Merry Christmas!

New Zealand's "Christmas Tree," the crimson pohutukawa, which explodes into blossom every December.

I came back to Gisborne on Friday to celebrate Christmas with DJ, Corey, and Marg and Rob’s family. It was a bright, sunny day and very hot (I got sunburned!), the house was full of food and little kids, and messages from friends and family around the world reminded me again how incredibly lucky I am, in so many ways. I hope everyone is spending the holidays in warmth and safety around people they love, and that the new year brings happiness, healthiness, and wholeness. I miss you all, and I send all of my love, every day. I promise I’ll catch up on the blog soon!
